The DMHAS, Western Connecticut Mental Health Network (WCMHN) is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Maintainer. This role is located at 95 Thomaston Avenue in Waterbury, CT. The work schedule is 1st shift, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, 37. 5 hours weekly. The position number is 86758. WCMHN coordinates three local mental health authorities in Danbury, Waterbury and Torrington. WCMHN provides peer support programs, recovery services, supported employment, homeless services, residential, crisis response, jail diversion, outpatient, case management, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) teams and young adult services. Collectively, WCMHN programs serve roughly 7,000 people annually. In this role you will discover the opportunity to: Provide minor building repairs and cleaning of offices, snow removal in front of doors and vehicles - sanding where necessary in the winter; Clean and sanitize all high touch areas, order supplies; Keep abreast of all routine maintenance state vehicles as well as transporting them to Fleet when necessary, maintain cleanliness and ample supplies in vehicles (mileage logs, first aid kits, emergency instructions, scrapers, etc.); Monitor condition of state vehicles, submit accident and/or property damage reports when needed, move furniture, empty trash; and Assist other Western sites as needed.
